Hello World! Today we're going to talk about how to choose an engineering major. We're going to go over the best engineering majors that I recommend for a BACHELOR'S degree, the ones I wouldn't recommend, and the reasoning behind these recommendations. We're also going to discuss specialization, when it's appropriate and how to go about it. As I state in this video, any major can be the best or worst depending on what you do with it and how much work you put into it. This isn't meant to discourage anyone in the "not recommended" majors. The engineering skillset is very marketable and highly sought after so with research, effort and passion you can find success in any field. The "recommended" majors are simply the most practical and will make your journey easier when finding an engineering internship, job, and more opportunities in your career. This is a video that I personally would have found helpful when I was just figuring out the world of engineering, so I hope you get some value out of it.
