Penelope is based in Roselle, New Jersey and is the brainchild of friends Mike Paladini and Danny Polise. The bourbon is named for Paladini’s daughter and went into production in 2018. Penelope is distilled in Indiana at MGP and in Kentucky at Bardstown Bourbon Company. Several of the bourbons are then finished in New Jersey. Penelope was purchased June 1 by Luxco. Penelope Architect Build No. 6 is finished with two different types of French Oak Staves. Delicate Stave (low tannin content) and Intense Stave (medium tannin).
