I've been attempting to work on an original arrangement of ASGORE since I finished working on my Megalovania remix, and I really liked the effect that slowing it down and changing some of the instrumentation had on bringing out the different individual melodies and harmonies. With this arrangement especially, I wanted to tell more of a story of the emotions that Asgore and Frisk would have felt during the final confrontation - the end of Frisk's journey, Asgore's attempted denial of his own wrongdoings, and the acceptance that there can be no end to the war without one of them defeating the other.
