10,000 FEET of Water Below Our TINY Sailboat! EP. 67

[ SUPPORT US ON PATREON ]   / sailingseawind   [ ONE TIME CONTRIBUTIONS ] https://bit.ly/3e5YE78 When we bought Seawind on Lake Erie, most places we traveled, if our boat sank to the bottom the mast would still be sticking up out of the water! Since heading off into the ocean, our tiny sailboat has seen depths of up to 10,000 feet! It is wild to think that there is so much water below our little boat. Most of the time you don't think about it so literally but on our passage to Spanish Wells on the island of Elerthera, Parker gets hit with the reality of how deep the water really is. Our passage goes smoothly from the Berry Islands, and Seawind enters the cut and into Spanish Wells. We find ourselves at a beautiful dock surrounded on one side by mangroves, and the other side filled with homes. This new place feels different from the other Bahamian islands we've visited. This episode ends with us baking some crackers with our sourdough starter, and having a lovely dinner aboard our floating home.
