SONY CDP-103 CD Player Disc Drive Repair - Retfurb Vintage Refurb

In this video we take a look at a retro 1985 Sony CDP-103 compact disc player, with a faulty disc drive mechanism. We will disassemble the unit, to allow access to the CD drive section. We can then replace the mechanism belts and re-grease the slide rails. This should then hopefully rectify the driver opening and closing problems. - This model of Sony CD player are getting quite collectible. They produce a good quality sound and the build quality of the unit feels very good. Obviously with any older Hi-Fi equipment, They need servicing to keep working as they were intended. This particular CD player was purchased recently and came with other matching Sony separates. - I hope you enjoy the video.
