EHMA 2023 Closing Ceremony: Awards and Announcement of EHMA 2024

From 5 to 7 June, the European Health Management Association hosted the 28th edition of its Annual Conference in Rome, Italy. Under the theme ‘Health management: sustainable solutions for complex systems’, the conference explored sustainable solutions and strategic thinking to drive the transformation of health systems in the face of unprecedented challenges posed by the digital revolution, climate change, and other threats to their resilience and sustainability. The closing ceremony took place on 7 June. Prof Sandra Buttigieg, President of the European Health Management Association (EHMA); Professor and Head of the Department of Health Services Management, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Malta, announced the winners of the Karolinska Institutet Medical Management Center (MMC) & EHMA Research Award, the EHMA Award for the best European paper, the best non-European paper, and the best poster. Dr Alexandru Rafila MD, Minister of Health, Romanian Ministry of Health, announced the upcoming EHMA 2024 Annual Conference, scheduled to be held in Bucharest, Romania in June 2024.
