There is another saying that says something of the sort that only close friends fight with each other. The reason this is because a close friend is someone you can bear everything to without fear of abandonment. A true friend walks in when the world walks out. This is another proverb that we use to display such a bond. It means that at some point, the bond between friends and the bond between brothers gets so close that no matter what they do or what they’ve done, you’re still willing to put up with them. There are few bonds as strong as this in the world, and if you have such a bond, treasure it, because you know that no matter what happens, you will always have someone who will be there to help and love you. That’s the kind of bond that Itachi and Sasuke currently have in this story I’m writing. They bond was a little more questionable in the original series, especially with Sasuke declaring that he would murder Itachi. But here, they’re so close that nothing either one of them could do would ever change that they love each other. Personally? I like that. I love looking at a world where Itachi and Sasuke are once again very close with each other. In this story, Itachi has killed his clan. But upon seeing Sasuke with the Mangekyo Sharingan, he knows he cannot leave him behind, and instead, Itachi takes Sasuke with him to join the Akatsuki. Itachi is surprised to see the brotherhood within the Akatsuki, and finds that his brother is well taken care of by the likes of Konan. However, not everything it safe, as not every member of the Akatsuki is planning to protect the bean. Some others are planning to use him for their own devices. Yeah, we’re looking at you, Orochimaru. Sitting over there with that cat-eatin’ grin. We got our eyes on you! Anyway, can these brothers stay together forever? Or will the threat of violence and the world of Shinobis rip them apart?
