Herbert Pregartner´s Porsche 911 GT2 is a legend on its own among the European HillClimb Racing community. With over 900Hp from its Twin Tubo engine, 867Nm of Torque and weighing little over 1100Kg this is one of the wildest Monsters in the World. Equipped with a 6 speed sequential gearbox, KW suspensions and a 8.200Rpm limit, this is a true example of how even a powerful Supercar can be taken as base for a Hillclimb Monster and see tremendous modifications result in an even more brutal machine. Unfortunately, the 2018 edition of Schotten Bergrennen was the last Hillclimb event for both Mr. Pregartner and his monstuous creation. While Herbert is retiring as a driver to focus on other aspects of the Sport, the 911 GT2 was sold to a someone who will take this machine to the circuits. As far as we are concerned, this is a major loss for the Sport and for sure we will miss the relentless Speed shown every Race by this absurdly powerful machine. So here´s to over 20 years of Hillclimb Racing by the Austrian Ace and for a possible return in the future as we know that leaving behind the rush of doing an Hillclimb Flat-Out behind the wheel of an unhinged Monster is almost impossible...
