I caught the biggest trout that I have caught since 2010 on a recent trout fishing trip to the King River. The trout was caught on a Strike Tiuger nymph, and I was absolutely stoked. The King River itself is not stocked with trout, however they are stocked into Lake William Hovell and many go straight over the wall and into the river which makes it quite a sustainable fishery.
