My YouTube channel has slowly devolved into the one video a year where I paint a guinea pig portrait for Bernadette, and honestly I'm totally cool with this. This year features my own piggy, Miss Hazel, whomst I adopted last summer! Although I didn't have plans at the time to adopt, this little lady stole my heart. **It's important to note that I am an experienced guinea pig owner and know what all their care entails! If you're considering adopting, remember guinea pigs generally prefer to be in groups of two or more. Miss Hazel is a unique case based on her history as a solo pig, and more intensive health needs. Don't worry though, she gets tons of love and attention. :] Painting was done in Winsor & Newton Oil Paints on canvas paper.
