In this video, I'll be installing a Tekonsha 118845 trailer light wiring kit on my 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. This kit adds a separate lighting circuit to isolate the trailer wiring from the vehicle's lighting circuits. It can also be used for lighting on other accessories that mount to the trailer hitch and block the existing vehicle lights. Anything that uses the flat 4 connector. Installation is a little complicated but should still be achievable if you have done vehicle wiring in the past (like a stereo install). If you are going to tow with your trailer, understand that the Bolt EV and EUV are not rated for towing, so you will be doing so at your own risk. That said, the drivetrain is certainly capable of towing a small trailer, and the vehicle weighs as much as a compact truck, so it should have no issue doing so.
