Lead Guitar Harmony 1:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B75B... Lead Guitar Harmony 2 + Solo: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B75B... Finally came around to uploading a video! This is definitely one of my favorite TSO songs. It's also one of the best versions of Pachelbel's Canon in D. The reason I'm late on uploading TSO covers was because I was working on another project before doing this one, which I plan to finally upload pretty soon. One of the things I like about the way the guitars are played in the song and that I wanted to capture in my own playing was the sound and feel the players brought out in their playing. It's really inspiring listening to this song! It's my first cover that has a tapping solo. It was definitely a challenge learning it since I don't tap that much. I had to learn the guitar harmonies by ear because I couln't find any good tabs online. Those were the most difficult parts to do other than the guitar solo which I also had to learn by ear, but it was a lot easier to figure out than the harmonies. What allowed me to be able to figure out those parts was an app called AnyTune that dramatically slows down any song, and allows me to hear each individual note or chords more clearly. I strongly recommend this app if you want to practice figuring songs out by ear. I also decided it would be a good idea to add the classical guitar to play the same part as the piano because there are long periods of time before the electric guitars start kicking in, and I had to tune my low E string down to C# because of the low notes the piano plays. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! NOTE: This description contains affiliate links that allow you to find the items used in this video and support the channel at no cost to you.
