Tool Review: How Useful is a Mattock?

Hi! This is a review of the mattock I restored last winter. I very much dislike reviews that feature less than 30 seconds of someone using a tool; hopefully my video shows you enough honest use of the tool to form your own opinion about it. If you have any questions or comments don't forget to leave them in the comment section down below! I love the tool, whether for weeding in tough ground or removing roots. I've even used it to split tough perennial grasses for transplanting. It was instrumental in establishing my garden this year. I bought the rusted 3 lb head off eBay, you can probably find one cheaper at a yard sale. The eye of this mattock didn't match the profile of the handle I ordered, so I shaped it to fit as best as I could. I filmed the footage for this tool review about a month ago, and I was struggling to edit it. In the past week I put a drive on to finish it; I hope it is of decent quality.
