Unlike traditional cathode ray tube (CRT) televisions, which use an electron beam to create images, LED TVs use an array of light-emitting diodes to provide backlighting to the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. Structure of LED TV: An LED TV typically consists of several layers, including the backlight, LCD panel, and color filter. The backlight is a layer of LEDs that provides the illumination for the screen. The LCD panel sits in front of the backlight and controls the amount of light that passes through. The color filter, which is also located in front of the LCD panel, adds color to the images. Working of LED TV: When a user turns on an LED TV, an electrical current flows through the LEDs in the backlight. As the current flows through the LEDs, they emit light, which passes through the LCD panel and color filter to create the images on the screen. The LCD panel controls the amount of light that passes through to create bright and dark areas on the screen, and the color filter adds color to the images. Applications of LED TV: LED TVs are commonly used in homes, as they provide high-quality images with vibrant colors and deep blacks. They are also used in public spaces, such as airports, shopping centers, and sports arenas, to display advertisements and other information. In addition, LED TVs are used in medical settings, such as operating rooms and diagnostic centers, to display medical images and information.
