On 27/28th of June Alpha Events UG's Blood Relation Convention, a TVD and TO convention, should have taken place in Frankfurt, Germany. A week before that the orga informed everyone on Facebook and their website that they filed for bankruptcy and all their conventions are cancelled. Whenever a company is insolvent there is little to no chance for creditoren to get their money back. That led to hundreds of people losing their money, mainly teeanagers and students, who have been saving up for months to pay for the convention. People called for help, the media was envolved. Chase Coleman and Michael Malarkey went out of their way to help. Even though they weren't paid by Alpha Con and didn't owe affected fans anything they decided to come to Frankfurt, Germany to give a concert at the Club Nachtleben. They created a list giving 200 affected fans the chance to get a discounted ticket, for 10€ instead of 15€ because they didn't want their fans to pay even more, and sold another 50 tickets at the regular price. (We all would have paid much more for it.) After the concert they also took photos with everyone and gave autographs. Needless to say we will never be able to thank those two guys enough for everything they did for us. They didn't get anything out of it. all the money earned, paid the location.
