Installing a Lutron Caseta Smart Switch in 4 Way Lighting Application (at the 4 Way Switch Location)

In this video I show you how to wire a Lutron Caseta PD-5ANS Smart Switch in a 4 Way or Multi-Location Switch Setup where the Smart Switch itself is installed at one of the 4 Way Switch locations. This same wiring would also work to install a Lutron Original Dimmer Switch in the same location. To mimic the multi-switch functionality with different switches at different locations, you would then substitute those mechanical switches with Pico Remotes. Lutron unfortunately does not provide instructions for this specific setup. They only provide instructions for you to install this at one of the 3 Way Switch Locations. You may need to do this because the PD-5ANS requires a neutral wire and you may not have a neutral at the 3 Way Switch location. Alternatively, you may simply want the Smart Switch at a specific location where the 4 Way Switch is located.
