Milton 1638—39 yillarda Fransiya va Italiyaga sayohat qilgan. 1640-yildan Angliya burjua inqilobi gʻoyalarini qoʻllab-quvvatlagan. "Areopagitika" (1644) risolasida matbuot erkinligini yoqlab chiqqan. 1649—52 yillarda burjua inqilobi arbobi O.Karomvelning xalqaro davlat yozishmalarini olib borgan. Styuartlar sulolasi qayta tiklangandan keyin mashaqqatli hayotga giriftor boʻlgan shoir oʻzining mashhur asarlari — "Yoʻqotilgan jannat" (1667), "Topilgan jannat" (1671) dostonlarini yaratadi. Soʻnggi asari — "Isyonkor Samson" temperaturagediyasida Angliya burjua inqilobi va dunyoqarashiga xos boʻlgan qaramaqarshiliklar oʻz ifodasini topgan. John Milton (1608-London-1674) is an English poet, publicist, political figure. Graduated from Cambridge University (1632). He wrote his works in English, Italian and Latin. His first works are the poem "To Shakespeare" (1630), a double work called "Khushchakchak" and "Khayolchan" (1632), the dramatic epic "Qomus" (1634), the march "Lucidas" (1632). Milton traveled to France and Italy in 1638-39. Since 1640, England supported the ideas of the bourgeois revolution. In the treatise "Areopagitica" (1644) he advocated the freedom of the press. In 1649-52, he handled the international state correspondence of O. Caromwell, a figure of the bourgeois revolution. After the restoration of the Stuart dynasty, the poet led a difficult life and created his famous works - "Paradise Lost" (1667), "Paradise Found" (1671). In his latest work, "Rebellious Samson", the temperaturage of the English bourgeois revolution and the contradictions of the worldview are expressed.
