Principal photography is slated to kick off in November in the UK and Iceland, with filming to take place at Kormákur's RVK Studios in Reykjavik. The screenplay is penned by Ward Parry. Producing this thrilling venture are Statham himself through Punch Palace Productions, Kormákur via RVK Studios, John Friedberg from Black Bear, and Jon Berg and Greg Silverman from Stampede Ventures. Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler will serve as executive producers for Black Bear. Black Bear is presenting the film to potential buyers at Cannes this week, alongside Range Select, and will also co-represent the U.S. rights. Statham, a stalwart of action cinema, is fresh off the success of "The Beekeeper," directed by David Ayer, which raked in $150M at the box office. He's currently collaborating with Ayer on "Levon's Trade" and is gearing up for "Mutiny" with Jean-Francois Richet.
