The display on the front of the fan is dimmable. The height adjustments are 52", 43.5", and 34.5" from floor to the top of the fan grille. It's not telescopic but has a snap lock pole. There are 4 fan speed settings and a timer mode that can be set from 1 to 12 hours in 1 hour increments. It's advertised as having a blue plug with a fuse inside, much like some holiday lights.
