See my other videos for preparing to tie dye: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqru-... soda ash and mixing MX procion dye https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWGyq... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXVXr... make your own soda ash~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ualh7... #tie-dye #prociondye PS some people put soda ash in with their dye. I prefer to soak my clothing or items to be dyed in a bucket of soda ash and water for an hour or so before I wring them out and fold them while still wet but not soggy. I did soak the t-shirt and the tapestry sheet in a big bucket of soda ash and water about 1 cup of soda ash per 2-3 gallons of water. I let them soak for at least 20 minutes but a few hours is best. Then wring them out and fold and tye while damp then paint them and cover them to keep them wet for at least 24 hours then wash them! good luck! PLEASE SUBSCRIBE
