Initial Setup is basically the process of setting up your console for the first time. Either if you have purchased it right out of the box, or it has been formatted and the console has been reset, this is the first process that needs to be done before you can enjoy your handheld gaming experience. The initial setup goes through certain steps depending on which model of the 3DS family you have. The 3DS shows the 3D screen test, the 2DS explains more of it's features even though there's no 3D mode in it's system, and the new 3DS demonstrates and explains the new Super-stable 3D mode that gives you a more enjoyable experience in 3D. I don't have a New Nintendo 2DS XL, but I'm sure it doesn't show anything significant that the video here already shows. Timestamps are below.
