This is the longplay of Mario Pinball Land, known as Super Mario Ball in Europe and Japan. It is a pinball game developed by Fuse Games and published by Nintendo in 2004. The game starts when Mario and Princess Peach arrive at an amusement park called The Fun Fair, with various attractions and stalls and many entertainment options for the regulars. But the attraction that catches the most attention is the Pinballer, a machine that can turn whoever enters it into a ball (that's right, a ball) so that the person is then shot from a cannon called The Sky Cannon into a giant target. a few meters ahead. Several Toads try the machine and have fun, so Princess Peach decides to venture out too. She enters the machine and turns into a ball, and at that moment two Goombas appear that redirect the cannon, causing the princess to be thrown directly at Bowser's castle! Mario sees all this happen and then jumps on the machine too, being thrown to another area, where he needs to go through several 'worlds', collecting stars and keys to finally enter Bowser's castle and save the princess, the typical but infallible script of Mario saving Peach from Bowser. In the game we control Mario as if it were a pinball ball, which needs to be hit as the player activates the left and right levers, which hit the ball and make it run across the board. The same thing happens in Mario Pinball Land, where we use the L and R buttons to move the left and right levers respectively, and the B button to activate items, which in turn are purchased at Toad's shop or won in boxes in the phases. The game has graphics very well made for the time and even very detailed, but unfortunately the gameplay is poor. Unlike physical pinball games or even other different games of the same style, in Mario Pinball Land the player does not have precise control over the direction in which the ball (Mario) will be thrown. The game physics seems weird, making performing actions necessary to progress in the adventure (such as defeating enemies and hitting a specific point in the stage) becomes stressful, as here we are very dependent on luck. Anyway, it's a pretty mediocre game, which had the potential to be a good game if it had been executed well. The video is 100%, all stars have been collected.
