Hi all. There is a lot happening to the railway in my local area. I went for an informal stroll with my camera and have a look at the progress of the Parkdale and Warrigal Road level crossing removal projects. I thought you would enjoy coming along. We will be losing the old village feel of the area, but gaining a brand new station and a lot of new open space. The old station was pretty basic and nothing to write home about. Getting backwards and forwards to the other side of the railway was only possible at a few spots too. The new gardens will incorporate some trees and shared pathways (pedestrians and bicycles).
