The road from Komaggas to Springbok might have been a tarred road, but it was stunning all the same. The Spektakel Pass was made so much more of a spectacle because of the story behind its name. When we arrived in the bustling Northern Cape town of Springbok, we could immediately see why it is the largest town in Namaqualand. We knew straightaway that we would not be able to cover even a small percentage of the town with the limited time to our disposal, so we just took a drive through and saw what we could. Then it was off to our accommodation about 10km outside of Springbok, where we had a fantastic time with a view to die for.
