November 15, 1991 - With opposing point guard Isiah Thomas in the midst of a 44-point performance, Utah Jazz guard John Stockton had just about enough with the Detroit Pistons' high pick-and-rolls. After being clipped by a Dennis Rodman screen, Stockton appeared to grab Rodman's leg and send him to the floor, leading to a brief scrap that sent Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan running to confront Rodman in Stockton's defense. With ordered eventually (and temporarily) restored, Rodman stepped to the line and connected on his first free throw, pointing downcourt at Sloan in mock acknowledgement. Sloan blew a kiss in response and a moment later, Rodman was ejected for receiving his second technical foul of the night. In Rodman's absence, the Pistons held on for a 123-115 victory. Three years later, Stockton and Rodman would meet again, this time with Rodman as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.
