Secuencia DESMEMORIA / UNMEMORY sequence. Gabi Pareras

🇬🇧 The three tricks that form this sequence, without having a defined connection, beyond the fact that in all of them four aces are used, are related in a harmonious way and (in Gabi's words) “they like each other. They have an almost spiritual connection." This sequence of effects begins with "Unmemory", continues with "Two face up and two face down" to end the trilogy with “Four-way ambitious." Being as it is a mere succession of tricks without more structural implications, the truth is that they flow wonderfully. They are "minor art" tricks ideal for "petit committee" situations and have a most elegant "in crescendo", reaching the "climax" in the spectator’s hands. These three effects were published in the lecture notes “Encuentros y desencuentros” (Encounters and disagreements) in 2016 and the video excerpt that we offer you here belongs to the lecture that Gabi gave that same year at the CIMAPS association (Madrid). Thank you David Gómez for preparing the first "remastered" video on ever, greatly improving its image quality, and also to Florian Brooks for correcting the subtitles, even though he was tremendously busy with his wedding preparations! 🇪🇸 Los tres juegos que integran esta secuencia, sin tener un nexo de unión definido más allá de que en todos se usan los cuatro ases, se relacionan de manera armónica y (en palabras de Gabi) “se caen bien entre sí. Tienen una conexión casi espiritual”. Esta secuencia de juegos comienza con “Desmemoria”, sigue con “Dos de cara y dos de dorso” para finalizar la trilogía con “Ambiciosa a cuatro bandas”. Siendo como es una mera sucesión de juegos sin más implicaciones estructurales, lo cierto es que fluyen estupendamente. Son juegos de “Arte Menor” ideales para “petit comité” y tienen un “in crescendo” de lo más elegante, alcanzando el “clímax” en manos del espectador. Estos tres juegos se publicaron en las notas de conferencia “Encuentros y desencuentros” (2016) y el extracto de vídeo que aquí te ofrecemos pertenece a la conferencia que Gabi impartió ese mismo año en la asociación CIMAPS (Madrid).
