If you have a new Mini, you will have a similar key. This battery is very easy to change. Make sure you buy a good CR2032 battery. Visit our resources page. https://thecarkeyman.co.uk/resources/ Transcript "Okay so today we've got a three button Mini Key, we're going to show you how to change the key battery, and the first thing you need to do is get this blade out. It's the emergency blade. You do it by pressing the button there, and pulling the blade out like that. Okay so the next thing is that this section here, is all going to come off the key. You do that by putting a screwdriver in there and popping it up. That comes away, put it to one side. Next thing, this thing here is the battery cover, so that needs to come off. A screwdriver under there and that gently comes off. And there you go So it is a Panasonic 2032, and that battery needs to come out, we're just going to pop something down the side and hook it out. Okay, so to pop a new battery back in, just push it in there. Then we need to pop the battery cover back on. So when you put this back together, there's a tab here, and that needs to go in first, so once that's home, push the rest in. Before you put the next bit on, just test the key will go in all the way in and comes out. otherwise if this isn't in correctly, the key won't go in. Then push that home, and there you go. With a three button Mini key, you are good to go.
