How to Collect Indigenous Microorganisms (IMO)

IMO1 refers to the process of cultivating/ harvesting indigenous microorganisms that are present on healthy forest soil. IMO2 refers to the process of storing, preserving them in a stable format (giving them enough food to be stored in a glass jar - normally is used brown sugar or molasses). This method is used in Korean Natural Farming to bring these positive "bugs" to your vegetable garden or compost. IMO are normally full of symbiotic fungi and great bacteria that significantly increase soil health/regeneration and decomposition - Amazing helpers! Currently we are using it in our compost, compost toilets and biochar. Recommended: Tip1: to harvest them during spring or autumn due to the temperature not being super cold or warm (in the tropics you can do it every time). 🌱 Tip 2: always brown rice, bugs are picky 🦠🦠
