I bought these two 'Whitespire' birches for the driveway containers, but what I found when I planted them is not great. 'Whitespire' is hardy from zone 3 to 6. I'll plan to overwinter them in these pots for at least a couple years. I'll have to move the pots to clear snow, but they will remain outside for winter.
