So I heard on the radio, a Westbound reported that this train in the video had a DPU that was not loading. They were going about 10mph all the way through San Timoteo Canyon. Seen here passing MP555 on the Yuma Sub, about 8 miles from the top! They were struggling, but still moving, with that one unit down on the rear. When the DPU's come buy you can hear the EMD loading, but the GE is not! The train had about 105 cars and they had a lot of heavy Tankers full of Gasoline and Diesel Fuel. I believe they were headed for El Centro, CA. Then the helpers were rolling right behind them. You can hear some radio conversations between the train, dispatcher and locomotive help desk.
