2024 Golden State International Wushu Championships & USAWKF National Team Trials The 2024 Golden State International Wushu Championships was held on May 26th and 27th of at the Santa Clara Convention Center. This competition has been held for 15 consecutive years. More than 20 students from Kung Fu Dragon USA participated in this 2 day competition, showcasing their skills, determination, and passion. With enthusiastic support from their teammates, families, and friends, KFD USA students excelled, earning 2 Overall Grand Champion trophies, 66 gold medals, 13 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals. 13-14 yr Contemporary All Around Wushu Championship Alex Chuang 10-11 yr Traditional All Around Championship Brandon Higashi A big thank you to Shifu Long, Shifu Jacob, Shifu Peng, Shifu Li, Shifu Meng, Shifu Fan, and Shifu Yu for their leadership, guidance, patience, dedication and commitment to bringing out the best out of each student. Additionally, thank you to family and friends for their unconditional support and encouragement throughout the years. Last but not least, the following 5 students from KFDUSA had been selected to join the USA Kungfu team, who will represent United States of America to compete in the 1st Pan American Wushu Open Tournament in the coming September: Anthony Zhang Sophiena Cai Mendoza Alex Chuang Arvin Ly Brandon Higashi Congratulations to all Kungfu Dragon USA students!
