In our main grant writing course, we have options for students to use a sample project or help another student on their project so that you can apply the concepts of grant writing to a real-world project. 2️⃣ Commit to excellence in project management I want you to start thinking of yourself as a project manager. Grant writing has so many moving pieces that it's critical to manage the project effectively. 3️⃣ Fake it 'till you make it! Grant writing seems to always offer new terrain - even if you are an experienced grant writer! Have the confidence to know that everything is figure-out-able and you got this! 4️⃣ Have a process mindset Create a folder structure that works for you organizationally. Figure out which grants are the best grants for your organization to pursue. It's like baking a cake, if you can do it once, you can do it again! 5️⃣ Don't be stubborn!
