Portsmouth might be the most charming New England town of all! For this video, I drove through the beautiful seaside community of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. After a brief bit of clouds the day before, this day was spectacular, and as you’ll see, tons of people showed up from all over New England to take in the sun on a late winter day. It was on a Sunday, March 21, 2021 at about 2 in the afternoon. Portsmouth is pretty much the only real somewhat large city along New Hampshire’s coast. Study after study call Portsmouth one of the best seaside communities in the country. It’s a vibrant place where you can shop and dine and feel safe. There’s only 20,000 people here, and the it was founded all the way back in 1653. Much of the downtown area we’ll explore has kept its historical vibe, but with a modern flare. This is actually one of the coolest places I’ve visited. I think you’ll like it too. While out and about in Portsmouth, I enjoyed a salmon dinner, which was so good I forgot to take a picture of it until I was almost finished. Here was the view from where I ate at - a place called River House. And no, they didn’t pay me to say that.
