Told through the voices of the fans themselves, the film shows how these communities have not only shaped, but been shaped by, the sport of soccer. Far beyond the city limits of Los Angeles, these fans carry a sense of pride for their countries, backgrounds, values and traditions – showing how, for many, fútbol has become a way of life. For LA Galaxy, the team’s cultural identity aligns with its Chicano and Central American fanbase. The film further portrays the innate culture of Galaxy by featuring elements like Low Rider culture – with its cars, bikes, aesthetics, and ways of talking and dressing.
