Cleaning Floppy Disks, will it fix them?

Floppy disks like any magnetic media won't last forever and while they may fail from a breakdown of the disks surface what if the disks are simply dirty. Lots of us never stored these disks properly which can lead to mould growing on the platter. This is sometimes enough to put the disk out of action so this week I pull down 6 random games and try to clean the disks in an attempt to fix multiple errors.
