She received a full ride basketball scholarship to play for the University of Florida where she had an outstanding career. Her accolades as her time of being a Florida Gator are as follows, voted by the Southeastern Conference coaches as a 2012 First Team All-SEC performer, 2013 All-SEC Defensive Team, 2013 All-SEC Second Team by coaches and Honorable Mention by media, 2012 SEC Second Team honoree by media, 2012 WBCA Division I Coaches’ All-America Team Honorable Mention, voted to 2012 WBCA All-Region 3 Team, 2010 SEC All-Freshman Team, and was selected by the Indiana Fever in the third round of the 2013 WNBA Draft, the 33rd overall pick. She also played overseas in Spain, and Puerto Rico, as well as playing for the Jamaican National Team. She has had quite the extensive career on the hardwood, and is now The Director of Sports Performance at her Alma Matter Bishop Moore Catholic High School. She is also the Strength Coach for the Rollins College Women’s Basketball team and the Founder of a Non Profit called Girls Basketball Worldwide Foundation. She is a force in her community, and a huge light to women in sports!
