What's up, guys?! I tried out a Line 6 POD HD500 (nope! no 'x' this time). In this video I cover the basics of the HD500 including choosing amps, effects, and footswitch assignments. *Important note: After, returning the HD500 to my buddy who loaned it me, I discovered that my close up footage (of the screen) wasn't very good quality. Because of the similarity of the HD500 and HD500x, I decided to rerecord the close up footage with my 500x. There's a chance that what you see on the close up shots may not exactly match what you see on your HD500, but I feel that the general concepts will still apply. Thanks for bearing with me:) *Chapters* 00:58: Setup/explanation of ins/outs. 02:06: Explanation of presets 02:59: Big knobs 03:19: Little knobs 03:25: Selecting presets 04:00: Tweaking effects 04:35: Pedalboard mode vs preset mode 05:45: Reassign footswitches 06:12: Choosing effects and tweaking settings 07:15: How to run stereo amps 07:31: What to do when 'DSP limit reached' 08:19: Saving presets 08:41: Comparison of HD500 vs HD500x Want awesome music for your videos?
