My wife Lauren and I arrived on the Pacific side of Costa Rica on Thanksgiving Day 2017. It was a huge adventure (and lot of fun!) reacquainting ourselves with this rural Costa Rican community. We really grew fond of all the people, as well as the environment, and of course the FISHING! Monster pacific black snook, roosterfish, needlefish and jacks inhabit this section of coastline. But according to the locals, catching a Cubera Snapper in the surf along this sandy beach section of Costa Rica is a very rare event.
