Conan O'Brien had a brief, but very memorable run on NBC's The Tonight Show from 2009 to 2010. Before that he had a long run at NBC anchoring Late Night with Conan O'Brien from 1993 to 2009. He has the unique distinction of replacing both David Letterman at Late Night on NBC in 1993 (when Letterman left the network for CBS and his own late night talk show), and then Jay Leno on NBC's The Tonight Show in 2009 when Leno joined the NBC primetime lineup for fall 2009. Currently O'Brien hosts his own talk show, 'Conan', on TBS cable television. This particular video clip is from Conan O'Brien's October 31, 1993 show, very early in his run at Late Night. This specific episode was a true clash of the generations - five people (including Andy Richter) covering television over the generations and decades.
