With an area of 867.69 square kilometers and a population of 114,397 as of 2010, the city is bordered by Raub in the north, Temerloh and Bero in the east, Ampang, Kajang, and Kuala Klawang in the south, and Selayang and Kuala Kubu Baru in the west, all of which are located in the state of Selangor.
