In 1991 Barney signed a nation wide deal with high end department store, Neiman Marcus. This deal would become the starting point for the purple dinosaur's multi-million dollar product licensing and distribution empire. How did this little known children's television character of the early 90s end up in Neiman? In episode three of Live From Barney's Couch I take a look at the history of the Neiman Marcus boutiques, the products that were sold there, and the outcome of their success. This past month has been a record month for collecting! I've added 84 items since my last video!
