The original purpose was to learn to drift in something cheap and capable. I was drifting in my 328i msport but this car was too nice and I kept crashing it as I was learning. So we got a BMW E36 compact for super cheap and swapped an m52 2.8 into it. (The m52b28 from my 328). After a LOT of mods, including roll cage, lock kit, bucket seats, coilovers, welded diff... we finally needed to fit the last piece of the puzzle. A HYRDAULIC HANDBRAKE!
