Follow this simple recipe to create a delicious and satisfying burger with perfectly marinated and fried chicken, topped with a homemade sauce and fresh ingredients. Let's get started! To make 4 burgers, you will need: Chicken Thigh Fillets - 14 oz (400g) - you can use chicken breast fillets, but breast fillets are drier Marinade: Buttermilk - 11.8 fl oz (350ml) Tabasco sauce - 1 teaspoon Salt - 1 teaspoon Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder - 1 teaspoon Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon Burger Sauce: Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons Ketchup - 1 tablespoon Mustard - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce - 1 teaspoon Pickles - 2 medium Seasoned Flour mix: Flour - 7 oz (200g) Salt - 1 teaspoon Black pepper - 1 teaspoon Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon Onion powder - 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon Other Ingredients: Burger buns - 4 Vegetable oil - 0.7 fl oz (20ml) Butter - 0.5 oz (15g) Lettuce leaves Tomato Fry the chicken in a large amount of oil. I used 50.7 fl oz (1.5 liters) in a 169 fl oz (5-liter) pot. Slightly pound the chicken fillets with a mallet. I put the fillets in a bag beforehand to keep the kitchen clean. Mix the spices into the buttermilk. Submerge the chicken in the marinade, cover, and let it marinate for about 1-2 hours. Finely chop the pickles and mix them with the other sauce ingredients. Let the sauce sit in a cool place for at least 10 minutes. Mix the spices into the flour. Dredge the chicken fillets in the flour twice. Submerge the fillets in oil heated to 350°F (176°C) and fry for about 6 minutes. If you don't have a thermometer, you can check if the oil is ready by dipping a toothpick into the oil. If bubbles form around the toothpick, the oil has reached the right temperature. Do not fry too many fillets at once to avoid lowering the oil temperature. I fry two pieces at a time. Toast the inside of the burger buns in a skillet with a mixture of vegetable oil and butter. Assemble the burger. Enjoy your meal!
