Voiceovers are transcribed at the bottom of the description!! ~~~ I ship Krax (as they humorously named themselves) hard. ;) I never really ship real-life couples, but Kristen & Dax are my only real exception to this rule. These two really share their love publicly with the world! And I adore them. I adore Parenthood, everything about it, and I'm excited that Crosby should be dealing with a new baby and being a new parent when season 5 starts, right around the same time as Dax in real life is. ;) And these two actors both seem like smart kind people from everything I've heard about them and seen in interviews. Voiceovers: Congratulations to Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, who have welcomed their first child into the world, a baby girl named Lincoln! What kind of crazy parents are you guys going to be? Oh, the best. Well, first and foremost we're giving the child up for adoption. You don't love anything more than a sloth. Except Dax maybe. I do love Da- and you know, and that's- in all fairness, it was- 50% of the breakdown I think is attributed to going like "Oh my gosh, my significant other went to these great lengths to make this happen!" You know what this cost? Do you see this piece of jewelry? You think I have commitment phobia? You have the most inviting face I've ever seen. Aw, you two are amazing. You know when you desire to look at the sun? But you know it's too bright, it'll burn your corneas? (Kristen mumbles something.) You're like looking at the sun without eye damage. It's nice. The thing I'm most excited about for Kristen in this movie is that it's the first time she's really, um, been asked to play the goofier side of herself, which is, I think, the best part and the most unique. It's the most... beautiful... love letter to you! Yeah, he- Yeah, I like her. I like you too! He's a lot more romantic of a writer than he realizes. She's so beautiful, yet so goofy and funny, and that's such a nice, weird combination of things. I think that's endearing. I know you and Dax obviously did this movie together. Yep. And I heard a clip where he called each other- or he called your couple "Krax"? Well that, you know, that was a funny nickname we came up with, um, I don't know, on a lonely Saturday night. Well, no one cares enough to give us a nickname, 'cause we're just not very important. And we thought like, "Oh! Well, maybe we'll give ourselves a nickname! And maybe it'll be really gross, like 'Krax'"! Um... we're pretty proud of it. How did the proposal go? What did you-? Was it like... pl-? Oh that's um- 'Cause you're such a producer inside, so did you think about it a lot? I had planned a very romantic way to do it. The restaurant I'd first told her I loved her at. I thought, "oh I'll go back there and do it right," and then um- that was gonna happen a couple weeks after Christmas. But then Christmas Day we'd had such a beautiful day together, and we were laying in bed, and I thought, "I'm gonna try to fabricate this feeling in 2 weeks at this restaurant, or I can just do it right now," but- He's very organic! I was not clothed at that moment. He was also bare naked. I was bare naked. We work really well together- Yeah. -is what we figured out. I would like to do movies with only you as an actor, if I had my choice. Aw! Isn't he sweet? Your lovely lady! Yes, my- Can I call her your lady? Kristen Bell? Oh, yes, yes. The greatest thing that's ever happened to me, Kristen Bell. Oh and this is how Dax is preparing. I like to title this photo, um, uh... "Son Helps Father Prepare for Newborn". He's just thinking about all the off-roading he'll have in this tiny partner. And we also got a um, a Simpson uh... racing seat for the baby. Oh Simpson Racing? They make a baby seat? They make a baby seat. Fantastic. It's really cute, and it's got like a 5-point harness so you strap the baby in and it looks like it's in a race car. And it's... it's cool. Whatever. Well it's good to see he's a mature father.
