You know what Stardew Valley always needed? Dying of Malaria. I'm excited for Echoes of the Plum Grove. I love the idea of multiple generations in my farming sim. I'm also not 100% sure this is a farming sim. Can I be a librarian? A fisherman? A carpenter? A witch? What is necessary to survive? I know if I were in Colonial times I'd be really walking the tightrope with that life expectancy. I've got some hopes for this game. I think I'm really going to like it, cozyness with a touch of death is always a favorite. In Episodes 1-5 We get started! I started with a little anxiety at first, I have to pay taxes?! I have nothing. I have to feed myself!? I have nothing. I liked that I had those problems to solve. I like the tension that builds. But those problems were easily solved. I like that they exist, it keeps what I'm doing from feeling pointless, but I'm excited for challenging myself to solve bigger problems, like who would marry a hairy sphere like me?
