Kupra to ri, neru khro ho le. Khrekusane, haye to lula? Ye ku to su uko hi mo me? Tsu zo sahi, hali tso veho. We are called to come together, to give our best and do our most. The Tetseo Sisters are four sisters with a repertoire of folk songs from Nagaland. We sing our "Li" in the Chokri dialect of the Chakhesang Naga tribe of Nagaland and our songs are often accompanied by the age old Naga one stringed instrument, the Tati / Heka Libuh. We are trying to keep the tribal Naga tradition of folk singing alive, and in our songs, we tell the stories of our people, their joys and sorrows, hopes and aspirations. WFIL is proud to present the Tetseo Sisters and their music to the world. O Rhosi!: A call to dance, sing and live. O Rhosi is a one of the liveliest Li we have ever come across and the melody totally captures the spirit of the song. Here's a song which accompanies dancing. A song favoured at festivities to express happiness and excitement. A song to inspire gladness and lightness of heart. The song goes in Chokri as: Dumi hono, küpra phi hohe. Küpra to ri, nerü khro ho le. Khreküsane, haye to lula? Ye kü to sü uko hi mo me? Tsü zo sahi, hali tso veho. Translated, it says: All gathered here, first among equals.
