Scecina Lip Dub '18: Uptown Funk

Scecina's first lip dub video took first place in a video contest sponsored by Compton Strategies. The contest was part of the Rivalry Night event at Banker's Life Fieldhouse, and the video was played on the jumbotron during halftime of the Scecina vs. Triton Central boys basketball game. Students in the RTVII class produced the video with choreography help from Mrs. Young, Scecina's theatre teacher and drama director. It was shot in one continuous take and ends in the gym scene, where it includes the entire student body. "Uptown Funk," by Bruno Mars, was chosen as one of five possible songs to be used for the contest. The song was shortened to meet time requirements for the contest.
