I bought a DNA Sequencer for less than the cost of a home genetic test!

I bought a surplus DNA Sequencer for under $100! I don't know how to use it yet, or if it's even fully working, but it's still pretty cool! In this video, we do some unboxing and initial tests to see what it has and what it might need. The system is an IntegenX Apollo 100 from around 2009. It includes the lab-on-a-chip sequencing units, fluid-handling Tecan robot assembly, pressure and vacuum module, control computer with software, and some other bits and pieces. While I don't yet know how to clone any extinct animals, create mutant monsters, or even check my ancestry or geneology, I can still say I own a DNA sequencing lab!
