In this webinar, we'll discuss a group of rare kidney diseases that are connected to the immune system, your body's cells and tissues that fight infection. Our guest speaker, nephrologist Laura H. Mariani, MD MSCE will provide an overview of these rare diseases, using one particular type of disease called complement 3 glomerulopathy or C3G as an example. Other types of rare kidney diseases related to the immune system are IgA nephropathy (IgAN), atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) and membranous nephropathy (MN).
