You can see in the AR clutch housing that after hours of submersion and cranking while submerged. It retained it's effectiveness. Everything you see is after half a season of hard use and neglect. No wash downs, no cleanings...Nothing. It also was left baking in my vehicle without any cleaning for the entire month of july (this cleaning was done August 4th.) The amazing part is. I didn't even need to do a deep dive. As everything internally was 100% sound. No degradation of the factory lubrication. For the first time in hundreds of reels. I acutally re used the grease on the main and pinion gears. I only added grease to where the the main shaft traverses the pinion (out of habit after realizing it wouldn't contaminate the "mag seal" This is an incredible reel.
